ESPN spoils the Super Bowl

That was on ESPN... Spoilerz!!!!11!!!! But I will now post my official Super Bowl prediction. I am usually very accurate, being off by a few points. I hear some people actually bet on these games.. so if you were to bet, not saying you should, but if you were to bet....you can rely on this prediction.

The Saints will lose. Peyton Manning will shred thru that defense. The Jets defense was better then the Saints and look at what the greatest QB of all time did to them. So here it is...

COLTS 34
SAINTS 28

Jets

Tomlinson is Playoff kryptonite. How many years have I've seen LT sitting alone one the bench pouting while watching his team being eliminated from the playoffs. He is a first ballot hall of famer but he will never truly get that great of praise for never winning the big one. His situation is different then Marino; LT has had some truly amazing teams around him. What is wrong with these Chargers? It can't be the coaching... Theres a lot of good free agent coaches out there... Nor Turner might be on the chopping block.

What an idiot Vincent Jackson is. Kicking the challenge flag? Real smart? Has anyone noticed how many times this head ref has fucked up speaking? He just penalized the wrong player.

NFL Playoffs

Today is football day! I am amped! I think these games today are going to be close, with big upsets and all around general mayhem. Lets breakdown each game with the score you will be seeing...

COLTS 28
RAVENS 14

- This is a statement game for the Colts and if they were too lose then the critics would never close their mouths about the benching of their stars. This is the only game I think that will not be close.

CARDINALS 31
SAINTS 35

A shootout. Neither team is that good but the cardinals defense is banged up.

COWBOYS 31
VIKINGS 26

The Vikings are cold and the 'Boys are hot. The ONLY way the Vikings can win this one is if Peterson goes nuts. I don't see that happening. I see Brett Favre getting sacked and throwing picks.

CHARGERS 23
JETS 24

Yeah baby... Defense wins championships and the Jets have the number one defense... and add to that the number one running game. I'm getting flashbacks of the Super Bowl Giants with this Jets team, they have that same swagger. There is one thing the Jets need to be careful of, and that is kickoff returns. Sproles can and probably will run one back. The Jets give up a lot of yards on the kickoff, allowing teams to start at the 40. Bottom line is I think Jets win.

NFL Week 2

The future of the Jets... wearing a shirt that says "Ambiguous"

So week 2 is just about done and things in the NFL are going as expected. I've been pretty accurate with my picks as of late and have been winning all my bets. Mucho Dinero. Very few teams are horrible (Browns, Rams) and everyone seems like they can put up a fight. The biggest surprise for me is the 2-0 49ers... Singeltery has that team really working. The Titans are 0-2 which is no surprise as I felt that they and the Dolphins would be facing a big drop off this season.

- The Jets look real good. Sanchez looks like a lock for rookie of the year and I see no reason why the Jets can't win their division... a division that is VERY overrated. The Dolphins had some gimmicks last season that got them to the playoffs, but coordinators have probably figured it out by now. The Patriots had a fire sale and have a bad defense and lost their offensive coordinator. ... getting Brady back is not going to solve all these problems. The Bills aren't as bad as I thought and might actually wind up second in the division. They should be 2-0 right now and they still don't have Marshawn Lynch back.

-Texans are still a playoff team.

- The Giants barely won against the Cowboys but in reality they should of killed them. The running game needs to pick up and the red zone offense MUST improve. maybe now people are finally starting to see that Romo is not a franchise quarterback. The Boys have a lot of problems and Wade Phillips needs to go.

- Do the Jaguars have any wide receivers on their team? If so name one and I'll give you a prize.

- I love the Falcons. They are a fun fun team you just want to watch... like the Saints. They are basically the opposite of the Broncos (one of the most boring teams in the world)

- I'm not giving up on the Packers but they have a problem with their O-Line. Rodgers is getting hit way too much... they are a good O-Line away from a strong playoff run.

- The Raiders would be a good team if they had an actual QB. The team plays hard but JaMarcus Russell is incompetent. He goes like 4 for 30 every game and gets 100 yards total passing offense. Why did they release Jeff Garcia?

- The Browns are HORRIBLE. Eric Mangini is a scam, a hack, a liar, and a cheat. That little Bellichick clone should not have a job in the NFL.

- The Ravens are really good and I would not be surprised to see them win it all this year. I know I picked the Packers before the season started , but right now I would pick the Ravens. They have always been a defensive team but now they are a offensive team too.

NFL Preview

-Wow... what a picture... one of most disturbing things I have ever seen hands down. So watching the NFL Kickoff right now and watching the Black Eyed Peas perform... are they like the official band of the NFL or some shit. I think they have done every NFL pre game event for like the past 3 years. I'm pretty sure they did the pre-game for the last 3 Super Bowls. Speaking of Big Ben... the women who he raped said she wouldn't press charges if he admitted he raped her.... HA HA HA HA HA! I would love to see that press conference... "Yes I raped that women... now can we move on to the next question?"

-Shawn Merriman choked out Telia Tequila and he is being punished? He should be rewarded if anything. He was trying to do the world a favor. I love how she claims to not have been drinking.. your last name is "Tequila" for christs sake. Thats like showing up for your DWI with a name like "Drunk Idiot".

-I want the Giants to win the Super Bowl this year of course but I am going with the Green Bay Packers to win it all. It would not surprise me to see the Packers vs. Patriots or Packers vs. Steelers in the Super Bowl.

-The teams I'm looking at making a big drop off are the Titans, Dolphins, and Cardinals. First off the Dolphins won a lot of games because teams were unfamiliar with their wildcat offense. They will need a new gimmick or something to steal some games... and plus Brady is back in their division. I'm still not sold on Collins as a starting QB and will think this year that drunk will finally break down. I dont think the Cardinals were that good last year and went on a lucky run... I bet they dont even make the playoffs this year.

-The Texans will be a playoff team

- the Cowboys are not dead in the water like people assume

- Favre will not make it thru the whole season

- Kyle Orton wont be starter for the Broncos for long... I have a feeling the newly released Jeff Garcia will wind up starting QB for that team

- JaMarcus Russell is your new Vince Young

- The Eagles shot themselves in the foot signing Vick... the first bad game McNabb has you have a QB controversy. Watch Vick wind up starting QB mid way thru the season.

- First game of the season... heres my prediction.... Steelers 24 Titans 13

Super Bore

So the "Super Bore" is this Sunday.  I think this is going to be a massacre, and you are truly going to see why the statement "defenses win championships" is so true. I'm probably going to place some bets and I'm thinking of taking the Steelers to win and covering the 7 point spread, probably the over (gotta check it again), and for the Super Bowl MVP to be Troy Parmalalou. Last year the G-Men won me 1k and the year before with the Colts I was one point off with my Super Bowl score prediction. (If you don't believe me, look on this blog at past posts.)

The Steelers defense is simply too good. They are going to get interceptions and they are going to hit Kurt Warner and cause him to fumble. The Cinderella story ends here.. Im going with the Steelers by 17... So I'm saying...

NFL Playoffs

The football is on today... so I thought I would give some picks.... The playoffs lack that special something since the Giants have been eliminated. I guess Eli Manning can now focus on buying multiple Toyota's and the upcoming Oreo Double Stuff championship competition.

Everyone knows what I think about Donovan McNabb... I think he is a terrible, overrated, head case, who cracks under pressure. Then we have the Cardinals. Kurt Warner is a uber Christian and it appears he has the Jesus in his corner. How can you beat someone that might be the Son of God. Did you know that Kurt Warner is homeless because he gave ever cent he owns to charity? He sleeps in the Arizona Cardinals training facility. There is no way you can dislike Kurt Warner... and to top it all off he took a job from a grade A douchebag named Matt Leinart. I hope Leinart never sees another snap in the NFL. Cardinals gonna win and then Kurt Warner will die for our sins in the Super Bowl. This will be real close... Cardinals by 1.

Ray Lewis is a scary man. Correction... the scariest man in the world. He paces back and forth before games like a caged lion. This is one of the most motivated men in the world.  I don't know how you can not be a better player by just being around him. I really want to pick the Ravens to win this, as they are my favorite team thats still left... but alas I can't. 2 main reasons... number 1 they have a rookie QB, he is do to make some big mistakes. Number 2... they damn near killed themselves in that game against the Titans. They better be ready for a game of equal physicality against the Steelers, the number one defense in the league. For a while now I've been saying the Steelers were the best team in the league. Since about mid season I felt this way, and I have a feeling they will beat the Ravens by a decent margin. I will say Steelers by 10.

So there you have it... the Super Bowl will be the most boring combination of teams possible as the Cardinals get crushed and murdered by the Steelers.

NFL Playoffs

Heres my playoff predictions Beatrice!

Giants vs. Eagles - Both offenses are suspect. McNabb and the Eagles offense didn't exactly look great against the Vikings and the Giants are showing how much they miss Plax by not scoring in the red zone. This is going to be a defensive war and a ground and pound run game. Westbrook vs. Jacobs. And thats why the Giants win, because its not just Jacobs who has to carry all the weight, he has Derrick Ward. Who does Westbrook have? This will be a close one but I'm going with the G-Men.

Steelers vs. Chargers - Steelers are the best team in the NFL. And even if Ben is hurt, the offense have looked slightly better with Leftwich. It doesn't matter, the Steelers are all defense and they are going to destroy the Chargers offense. Don't expect Sprules to be a hero again in this one... this aint the Colts D. Expect a lot of fumbles and into from the Chargers. I'm going with the Steelers by 10.

Panthers vs. Cardinals - SNORE! The bore of the week right here. The Cardinals don't deserve to be in the playoffs and hopefully the overhyped Carolina will beat the Boldin-less birds. Expect a high score on this one and the Panthers to win by a good margin. Lets say 14.

Ravens vs. Titans - Game of the week. If you like hard hitting football this will be for you. This will be nothing short of a war with both teams destroying each other. This is going to be a very good, low scoring, brutal game. Back and forth battle of field goals. However, I'm going to go with the Ravens by 3 points.

NFL WILDCARD

What is in the water in San Diego? Whatever it is, all I know is that the Chargers produce some of the best running backs. LT is great (although on a decline), Michael Turner is proving he too is the real deal on Atlanta, and now say hello to the newest and possibly brightest star, Darren Sproles. Watching this 5 foot 6 mighty mouse plow thru defenders like a mini Brandon Jacobs is a blast. He pops out of the backfield like he is being shot out of a rocket, and jukes and turns at amazing paces. Based on this one performance, he is my favorite RB to watch play along with Peterson and Jacobs. This guy is going to be a star in this league... let the bidding wars begin on him as he becomes a free agent after this. Chargers are scary right now.... reminding me of the Giants last year. You have to realize this, the last 4 games have just about been playoff games for the Chargers.... must win games. And Rivers, like him or not, seems to be one of the most competive guys in the league. Will Rivers join Rothlessberger and Eli in that elite class of QB's from that draft to win the big one? The Chargers look real hungry, with young unknowns stepping up and making the plays when it counts (just like the Giants last year). The Colts were becoming a favorite to win the AFC... Now I got to say its the Steelers. I think this Chargers team can beat the Titans and give Pittsburgh a run for its money.

I must admit however, I LOVE the Chargers theme song... it is the most tacky disco anthem I have ever heard. It might also be the most god damn catchy song of all the times.

The Cardinals are a fair weather team. They are going to be devoured by either the Giants or the Panthers. If the Falcons could've established some sort of run game, they would have won. I'm convinced Matt Ryan is the real deal and will be a star in this league for a while. Sure he had his rookie mistakes, but overall he put together some really good drives. No one will be talking about this game, and the Chargers look to remain the talk of the league unless something amazing happens tomorrow.

Heres my picks for tomm.... Vikings manage to stop Westbrook and force McNabb to the air. McNabb makes some costly errors and the Vikings pull of a last second victory. Vikings by 3.

The Ravens defense is simply too much and they take a commanding lead on the dolphins ending the cindarella story. I say Ravens by 10.

Monday Morning QB

Two things are for certain in the NFL.... the Giants and the Titans are for real. Imagine how scary good the Titans would be if they had a goof QB and receiving core? Heres another prediction I have.... I don't see Collins finishing out this season, and Vince Young will be starting for that team in a couple of weeks.

I am shocked that the Cowboys beat the Bucs. I thought the Bucs were one of the best NFC teams, and Garcia looked to have had that offense rolling. The fact that they put up 6 points is shocking. Still, that Cowboys offense isn't clicking under Brad Johnson. Let me say this... Reports of the Cowboys demise is greatly exagaratted and they will be in the playoffs. I have a feeling they will really start to get on a roll again when Romo comes back.

The Jets suck. They might have barely won that game, but it should still be considered a loss. You were playing a Chiefs team with a third string QB and without Larry Johnson. The Jets really needed a repeat performance of that game against the Cardinals... they needed Favre to have 6 TD's and win by a large margin. This is not a playoff team, and after this year Favre will retire and retreat into hiding, only to come back out to make ammends with the Packers and forget all about this New York nightmare. BTW Dwayne Bowe caught 100 plus yards. He has consistently getting numbers like this with such a shitty QB.... can you imagine how much of a beast he would be on a good team?

The Chargers suck... even when LT finally does play amazing, they still suck.

The Dolphins are a fun team aren't they? This return to glory might finally give Parcells the credit he deserves. He is one of the greatest football minds ever and returned many a franchise to glory. After the Dolphins come back, they should send him over to the Lions then to the Bengals.

Houston is really starting to get on a roll. Matt Scahub is playing great, Staton is running good, and Andre Johnson is a beast. Plus this team has a good defense. This might become my sleeper team to bounce back and make the wild card. I think this team right now might be better then the Jags, and the whole AFC is wide open.

Isn't it weird how the AFC was so dominant and now the NFC is such a much better confrence?

Is Peyton Manning done? No Way Jose. If you watch the games, most of these intos aren't his fault. All the balls are bouncing off his receivers hands. The problem is that Harrison's career is coming to an end and Reggie Wayne is not playing well enough to take over his spot. Reggie Wayne needs to become the number one receiver and Manning needs to really get on the same page with Anthony Gonzalez, who is due to be a stud receiver.

Monday Morning QB

Who is the best team in the NFL? Well, I'll tell you who it is not.... thats the Cowboys. That team is turning into nothing short of a disaster. The Pacman Jones experiment was a disaster, and I honestly expect to see Michael Vick in the NFL again before him. Terrell Owens is getting ready to explode and show his true colors, and I don't really understand the move on getting Roy Williams. They gave up way too many draft picks for him, and have to realize that he is not that young. Jerry Jones is infamous for throwing away draft picks for established names, and needs to realize that these superstar fantasy teams dont work.

Brett Favre is now just an average QB. He is good, but he is not great anymore. The whole Jets offense seems suspect. And its amazing the verbal blowjob that Favre receives every week courtesy of the announcers. And the Raiders are actually not that bad... that defense is really good. They remind me of the Titans with JaMarcus Russell being the Vince Young. He's not going to have amazing numbers but he is coached very safely.

The Chargers are not the real deal.... Tomlinson is hurt, and they really should start limiting his carries. He is bringing that team down, as that team should really be a contender. I'm very surprised by their poor play.

I thought the Colts bounced back and were poised to re-claim the NFL as the best team. I guess I was wrong as the Packers really put a whipping on this team. I'm huge on Aaron Rodgers and think that he will become one of the leagues elite QB's... in the same realm as Peyton and Brady. The Packers are better off this year without Favre, and I think people are starting to realize it was the right decision.

The AFC kinda sucks. Besides for the Titans and the Bills, no team really stands out as dominant. Shit.. no team in the NFL is really dominant. This is the oddest NFL season I have ever seen. Any team can truly beat any team. And every team (besides the Titans) has absolutely no consistancey. One week a team will have 200 total yards of offense and the next week put up 48 points. It makes no sense... there is no logic in the NFL this year.

Heres my tip to NFL coaches.... cut this time out shit on the FG's. This is the second week in a row that this shit caused a team to go to an unnecessary OT. That tactic is so fucking cheap and freezing the kicker will bite you in the ass.

Monday Morning QB

Are the New York Giants that much better then every other team in football?

No. Even last years Giants team with Osi and Strahan was better. Its just that every other team in the NFL is just not that good (with the exception of the Titans so far). The NFL is league based on parity, and this year it is more evident then any other. Any team can beat any other on any given sunday. Wow I used any a lot in that sentence. What truly establishes a great team in todays NFL is a coaching staff and lack of injuries. The present Giants work on a lot of the same cylinders as last years Patriots, minus the cheating. No one player is bigger then team. No single player is bigger then the team. Tiki leaves, 3 other RB's jump in with big numbers. Strahan and Osi leave... Justin Tuck jumps in. Shockey out for the year? Enter Boss. Even when Burress is suspended... Sinorice Moss nabs 2 TD's. Even though I hate to admit it.. David Carr is a great back up, and the team might not suffer too much if Eli went down. The true genius on the Giants, and next great future NFL head coach, is Defensive Coordinator Steve Spurrier. Bill Bellichick started as a Defensive Coordinator on a Super Bowl Giants and look where he is now. The Giants have all the makings of a repeat and a dynasty, but in todays NFL I feel it is damn near impossible. Todays NFL is not about superstars... like the megastar Cowboy driven league... it is about great coaching and team play. The Patriots dynasty didn't have many superstars and actually failed when it added them (Randy Moss). The same can be said for the Giants, as they seem to thrive with less stars (Shockey, Tiki). Now here is where my problem comes... the Giants are looking to add Tony Gonzalez to the team. Now he is great, one of if not the best Tight Ends of all time. But when the sauce tastes just right why are you going to throw in some more spice? See my drift. Adding him may actually throw Eli off again and be the downfall of this team. Just my two cents.

BTW... make sure to watch that video below... that might be the most bizaare clip I ever posted on here.

NFL PREVIEW - NFC

THE NFC!

Redskins - Good year for everyones favorite schizophrenic Clinton Portis. I am still not sold on Jason Campbell and feel he is not worthy to be a starter in the NFL. They will be a wildcard team.

Cowboys - This team is going to come out of the gate hard looking unstoppable, but then they will fall due to injuries, but still manage to win the NFC East. This team is the real deal and will make it to the Super Bowl...only to lose to the Chargers.

Eagles - Donovan McNabb is DONE. Not only that, but their is hardly a receiving core here. The whole offense is Westbrook and the way they work him, he is definetly going to wind up hurt.

Giants - Oh man... things are not looking to good here. No more Shockey...Osi is out for the year. They will be a wildcard team, but exit out in the first round. No repeat.

Lions - Mediocrity. No defense, a lame QB. Roy Williams is fizzling out but expect Calvin Johnson to have a Pro Bowl year.

Packers - The Favre less Packers. Don't worry Green Bay fans, Aaron Rodgers is the real deal and this is still a very good team. Some of the best recievers in the NFL. There biggest problem is the RB. Ryan Grant is not the answer and just got hot for a little bit last season. They will be in the playoffs.

Vikings - Peterson is the most exciting player in the NFL and if he doesn't get hurt he will be your MVP. This team is good but they will not go anywhere without a good QB and one big name WR. No playoffs this year... draft a QB.

Bears - Speaking of QB's. This team needs a QB badly, and its once great defense is fading. They are going to finish under 500 and be one of the worst teams in the NFC.

Panthers - This team is done too. Steve Smith is out for the first 2 games, and even his value is nothing special anymore. No playoffs and the last year for Delhomme as a starter.

Saints - This team is really really good. One of the most explosive offenses in the NFL and Shockey is going to have a HUGE year with Bress. They are going to make it to the NFC championship and lose to the Cowboys.

Bucanners - Mediocre team. No more Galloway so that hurts them a lot. Garcia wont be able to reproduce his magic this year and they will fail to make the playoffs.

Falcons - Not going to be as bad as you might think. Michael Turner should do pretty good as a starter, he seems like he can take a hit. He wont blow anyone away with his numbers, but he will be somewhat succesful.

Seahawks - Definetly on a big decline, but getting rid of Alexander was a good move. They will somehow manage to make it in the playoffs again, but lose first round.

Arizona Cardinals - This team is falling apart. Leinart is a fucking joke and Kurt Warner is now the starter. Eddgrin James is done, and Boldin wants the hell out of there. Kurt Warner can win them about 4 to 5 games...but thats all.

Rams - Big season for Stephen Jackson and Bulger returns to form. I except a playoff berth for these guys. They are going to surprise a lot of people.

49'ers - No QB and Gore will probably go out for the season at about week 4. No hope for this team. The worst team in the NFC.

NFL PREVIEW - AFC

NFL PREVIEW - AFC
"Chad Johnson can outrun a horse!"

Steelers - Much improved from last year and working under a new coach. Rothless should return to form, but they are not a playoff team.

Jaguars - They have no receivers and a questionable QB. Their run game is fine as is their defense. A moderate year for them, with a crowded 3 man backfield.

Chargers - New coach, same LT. More greatness from LT, but not up to last years standards. Rivers will also mature more, and they are definitely a playoff team.

Jets - Good new RB, but same old QB. I predict this is Pennington's last year in Green, and he is pulled/injured by mid season for the back up rookie kid (who is apparently good)

Browns - Uncertainty at every position. Jamal Lewis will do nothing and Brady Quinn will have some rough learning.

Titans - Poor Vince Young. He loses his RB and WR's. They will be one of the worst teams in the AFC.

Texans - Should be improved. New QB. Might pick up 4 wins...5 if they are lucky.

Broncos - I'm big on this team. I think Cutler is the real deal. A lot of their success will rest on the shoulders of Travis Henry. I predict big things.

Bills - They got worse from last year. Get ready for a losing year, Lossman is a bum. That rookie RB should emerge as a possible rookie of the year tho.

Patriots - These assholes. I predict they win all year, but then get upset in the second round of the playoffs. Yeah I said it.

Dolphins - A disaster. Probably the second worst team in the AFC.

Raiders - More garbage. Culpepper is done, bury him already. Worst team in AFC.

Bengals - Very exciting. Breakout year for Houseyourmamma. A playoff team but not ready for the big show.

Ravens - Scary good defense, and defense wins championships. Plus a new RB to be dealt with. McNair has one more good year in him. My Super Bowl pick.

Colts - They are the Colts...amazing team, best QB in the league. No magic again this year as the defense fails to hold up.

Chiefs - No QB. Herm Edwards is a moron. Get ready for a terrible year.

Playoff Teams - Patriots, Ravens, Colts, Chargers
Wild Card - Broncos, Bengals
Super Bowl Team - Ravens

NFL Preview - NFC

NFL PREVIEW: NFC
"The Bears are who we thought they were!"

Seahawks
- Alexander isnt able to get back on his feet and the team witnesses a downfall. Hasselback will also have problems. I predict they fail to make the playoffs.

Buccaneers - Garcia doesn't bring his magic and Cadillac proves to be a bust. One of the worst teams in the division.

Falcons - No Vick might actually help them. I don't think they will be as bad as people project and I think Dunn comes up big.

Bears - The flop team. I expect a very mediocre year and for Grossman to get exposed for the bum that he is. Benson will also flop as RB.

Saints - Pretty solid team. Bush will probly steup up as a premiere running back this year. However, I dont expect Brees to have as good a year. Could be a Super Bowl team, but probably not yet.

Redskins - Not quite yet. Next year they should be pretty good. They wont suck, but they wont be good. A good year for Santana Moss tho.

Rams - My NFC Super Bowl pick. Yup...Jackson and Bulger, and an improved receiving core. The best team in the NFC.

Packers - Possibly a playoff team. It all depends on Favre and how bad he wants one more run. The lack of a great running back might be their downfall tho. Might be able to sneak past the Bears. Their division is totally up for grabs in my opinion.

Lions - Big years for Kittna and Roy Williams. And Calvin Johnson is your rookie of the year. Lack of a strong defense is the big weak spot here. They might just be able to sneak past the Bears and win the division.

Cowboys - Im not sold on Romo, and I don't think they have a good running back. Jones and Barber don't do it for me. Plus no more Parcells. Will probly barely win the division tho.

Vikings - Worst team in the NFC

49'ers - Here is an emerging team. Great running back in Gore. I also like Smith as QB. They should be a wild card team but have a rough division. If the NFC East doesn't live up, the NFC West might be sending 3 teams to the playoffs.

Giants - Not as bad as people think, and better then the Cowboys in my opinion. Second best in their division behind the Eagles. Big year for Eli. I have a strong feeling, and Jacobs proves he's the real deal.

Panthers - Steve Smith is overrated! VERY overrated. And Delhomme is done. No playoffs for these cats.

Eagles - McNabb stays healthy and they are scary good. Playoff good. Defense is there, RB is there...only thing a little shaky is their wide receivers. I have a feeling injuries will bring them down tho.

Cardinals - Improving. Should be a much better team this year. They are almost a playoff team...maybe 1 or 2 years. I expect a good year from James.

Playoff Teams - Cowboys, Lions, Saints, Rams

Wild Card - Giants, 49'ers
Super Bowl Pick - Rams
